tailless delta

A delta wing where the angle of attack is controlled by the movement of the trailing edge of the wing; an upward movement produces a downward force on the trailing edge and so increases the angle of attack. An aircraft using a delta wing, but with a separate tailplane, has a higher maximum value of coefficient of lift (C_L max) and a lower stalling angle than the tailless delta aircraft.
