Stephanie Moss, a professor of English with a specialization in fantasy and horror literature, received her doctorate from the University of South Florida where she is a member of the faculty of the English Department. For the International Conference on the Fantastic Arts in 1992, she wrote “The Prostitute in Dracula” and has presented a series of papers that have since earned her acclaim as a Dracula scholar. She has been actively involved in The Lord Ruthven Assembly, serving a term as secretary. In 1995 she was among the presenters at the World Dracula Conference in Romania and spoke at Dracula ‘97: A Centennial Celebration in Los Angeles. She has continued as an active Dracula scholar into the new century.
