Krasnokutsk

an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Krasnokutsk Raion, Kharkov Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, situated on the Merla River (left tributary of the Vorskla), 22 km from the Guty railroad station (on the Sumy-Kharkov line). Krasnokutsk has a creamery, a building-materials plant, and a furniture factory.
