A group of health and social care professionals (e.g., pastor, nurse, pathologist) which addresses the emotional and psychological needs of a person who has lost a loved one. The pathologist’s role in such a team is to advise on legal and ethical matters, discuss autopsy findings, audit the service and to help with the induction of new staff joining the bereavement team.
