Medium zcoeli is another term for midheaven, which is the most elevated degree of the zodiac in an astrological chart. In many systems of house division, it is also the cusp (beginning) of the tenth House. Medium coeli (frequently abbreviated MC) means “middle of the sky” in Latin. Medium coeli is often used interchangeably with zenith, although this usage is incorrect.
