Special Features:Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow lived here from 1837 to 1882 while teaching at Harvard. Years earlier, George Washington, Commander-in-Chief of the newly-formed Continental Army, headquartered and planned the Siege of Boston here (July, 1775 and April, 1776).
