Khingan Preserve
Khingan Preserve
a preserve located on the left bank of the Amur, between the Urilo and Mutnaia rivers. The Khingan is bounded on the north by the main line of the Trans-Siberian Railroad. It covers an area of 58,900 hectares (1976). The Khingan Preserve was created in 1964 to preserve the natural landscapes of the central Amur region.
