Stolyhwo, Kazimierz
Born Mar. 3, 1880, in the village of Brailov, in what is now Zhmerinka Raion, Vinnitsa Oblast, Ukrainian SSR; died June 28, 1966, in Kraków. Polish anthropologist. Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences (1951).
Stolyhwo was a professor at the University of Kraków from 1933 to 1960. His main works dealt with the anthropological makeup and the origin of the Slavic peoples, methods of racial analysis, paleoanthropology, and anthropogenesis.
