Location:In Washington County, 10 miles east of Hagerstown, on US 40. Accessible from I-70 via the Myersville Interchange.
Facilities:165 improved campsites (some with electric hookups; @di), bathhouseswith hot showers, picnic areas (é), 4 reservable lakefront gazebos,hiking trails, mountain bike trails, 42-acre lake, boat launch, boatrentals, camp store, food concessions, playgrounds, visitor center(é).
Activities:Camping, boating, flatwater canoeing, freshwater fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Park is located in the Appalachian Mountains, one of the earth's oldestmountain ranges. Rock outcrops and "mountain stones" found atGreenbrier reveal much about earth's geologic history. The AppalachianNational Scenic Trail (see entry in national trails section) enters theeastern edge of the park on Bartman's Hill.
