Hinman syndrome

, Hinman-Allen syndrome (hin′măn) [Frank Hinman, Jr., U, S. urologist, b. 1915] An habitual dyscoordination between contraction of the detrusor muscles and relaxation of the urethra. It is a cause of urinary incontinence that is sometimes called nonneurogenic neurogenic bladder. It can be treated with bladder training or medications.
