1924 R. S. Spears Camping, Woodcraft & Wildcraft v. 22 Wildcraft, or woodcraft, means the know-how of hunting, of nature observation, details of wilderness science, and includes the subject of camps and camp-making. Perhaps ‘Wildcraft’ would be the better term, since some of the most important outdoor ventures are of deserts, high mountains, many waters, prairies and open spaces, and woods are only part of the available unfenced territories.
