释义 | ubiquinonen. Biochemistry. Any of a class of substituted quinones present in most eukaryotic cells, which act as electron-transfer agents in cell respiration. Ubiquinones have a 1,4-benzoquinone nucleus with a number of substituents: one methyl and two methoxy groups and a chain containing a variable number of isoprene units.
