释义 | † suresn. Obsolete. The southerly winds of the coasts of Chile, Mexico, and Peru. Also sures pardos: such winds accompanied by fogs. ΚΠ 1758 J. Adams tr. A. de Ulloa Voy. S.-Amer. I. iv. ii. 162 At the period of the Brisas, the Sures [Sp. Sures] or south-winds begin to blow. 1758 J. Adams tr. A. de Ulloa Voy. S.-Amer. II. ii. iii. 213 These fogs the sailors call Sures pardos [Sp. Sures pardos], and are fond of them, as they are a sure sign that the winds will be fresh and constant. 1867 W. H. Smyth & E.
