释义 | slow timen. 1. Military. A slow rate of marching, typically used at funerals and ceremonial occasions and consisting of about 60–80 paces per minute. Cf. quick time n. 2, ordinary time n.In the British army the rate of slow time is 65 paces per minute; the rate of slow time with gun carriage, which is used for funerals, is 75 paces per minute. The current U.S. rate is about 60 paces per minute.
