Origin: A borrowing from Latin. Etymon: Latin accūrātus.
Etymology: < classical Latin accūrātus performed with care, exact, use as adjective of past participle of accūrāre to give attention to, to perform with care < ac- ac- prefix + cūrāre cure v.1 Compare Spanish acurado (1490), Italian accurato (1550).
