Origin: Formed within English, by derivation; partly modelled on a French lexical item. Etymons: rubeola n., -oid suffix.
Etymology: < rubeola n. + -oid suffix. In use as noun after French rubéoloïde ( E. Besnier & A. Doyen App. des traducteurs in tr. M. Kaposi Pathol. & traitement maladies de la peau (ed. 2, 1891) I. 336).
