renv.

Forms: late Middle English ren, late Middle English renne.
Origin: Probably a borrowing from early Scandinavian.
Etymology: Probably < early Scandinavian (compare Old Icelandic renna to cause to run, let run, and other Scandinavian forms cited at run v.). Compare run v. (in transitive use) and forms at that entry.Derivation from Old English regnian, rēnian to put in order, to prepare, to arrange, to adorn, as suggested by N.E.D. (1906), is highly unlikely on phonological and semantic grounds.
Obsolete. rare.
transitive. To expedite.
