An iron-containing mineral belonging to the halotrichite group, typically occurring as fibrous masses of a white, yellowish, or purple colour.Redingtonite is a hydrated sulphate of iron, magnesium, nickel, chromium, and aluminium. Crystal system: monoclinic.
