Etymology: < post-classical Latin praeiudicatio action or result of judging beforehand (5th cent.) < classical Latin praeiūdicāt- , past participial stem of praeiūdicāre prejudicate v. -iō -ion suffix1.In sense 2 apparently rendering classical Latin praeiūdicium (see prejudice n.).
