Also (of a fat, foodstuff, etc.): containing such fatty acids.In human nutrition, natural polyunsaturated fats, found chiefly in vegetable and fish oils, are believed to be healthier components of the diet than saturated fats, which have been linked to a higher risk of cardiovascular disease.
