释义 | pilifern. Entomology. Any of various small projections associated with the mouthparts of certain insects; esp. a small lateral projection on each side of the labrum of many lepidopterans. Kellogg Elements Insect Anat. 59 It bears two, tapering, cephalod-projecting points, the pilifers, rising from the ends of the transverse portion of the sclerite. 1944 R.
