释义 | phonoliten. Geology. Originally: a fine-grained igneous rock which made a ringing sound when struck; clinkstone. Now: any of a group of fine-grained, often porphyritic, volcanic rocks consisting of alkali feldspar and feldspathoids (usually nepheline), together with accessory sodium-rich amphiboles and pyroxenes.
