Etymology: < post-classical Latin perreptatio action of creeping over (4th cent.) < classical Latin perreptāt- , past participial stem of perreptāre to creep or crawl through ( < per- per- prefix + reptāre to creep: see reptant adj.) + -iō -ion suffix1.
Obsolete. rare. Apparently only attested in dictionaries or glossaries.
