Etymology: < classical Latin ped-, pēs foot (see -ped comb. form; compare pedo- comb. form1) + -oeuvre (in manoeuvre n.2; compare French œuvre ure n.1), after manoeuvre n.2 N.E.D. (1904) gives the pronunciation as (pĭdiū·vəɹ) /pɪˈd(j)uːvə(r)/.
Obsolete.
A planned movement or action performed with the feet.Apparently an isolated use.
