Mental Sci. 30 51 Each [element] awakens its own quantum of consciousness, which unites with that of the other elements simultaneously disintegrated, to form the panæsthesia of the individual. Note. I propose this name of panæsthesia to express ‘the totality of what an individual feels at a given moment’.
