Origin: Formed within English, by compounding. Etymons: P n., Celt n.1
Etymology: < P n. + Celt n.1, so called on account of the sound change described in the definition of P-Celtic adj. Compare Q-Celt n. and later P-Celtic adj.
A member of any of various ancient peoples speaking languages belonging to the P-Celtic group of Celtic languages. Cf. P-Celtic adj., Celt n.1 1b.
