Origin: Formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: nyctalopia n., -ic suffix.
Etymology: < nyctalopia n. + -ic suffix. Compare French nyctalopique (1836). Compare also ancient Greek νυκταλωπικά (neuter plural) attacks of night blindness.
Chiefly Medicine. Now rare.
Of, relating to, or affected with nyctalopia.
