1974 New Eng. Jrnl. Med. 5 Dec. 1210/2 Oral methoxsalen and long wave ultraviolet light is a form of chemotherapy. The term ‘photochemotherapy’ is suggested to describe the interaction of light and drug that results in a beneficial effect on disease.
