1778 Dumfries Weekly Jrnl. 11 Aug. 11 We hear from Stonehaven, Kincardineshire, that sixteen rioters and meal-mobers, from Bervie, John's-haven, and Gourdon, have been tried there by the sheriff-depute and a respectable jury.
