Etymology: < majesty n. + -arian suffix.Clough may perhaps be alluding to Ld. Adolphus Fitzclarence's royal blood (as an illegitimate son of William IV), as well as to the fact that Fitzclarence had been naval aide-de-camp to the Queen.
Obsolete.
Of or relating to the sovereign.Apparently an isolated use for humorous effect.
