1928 Amer. Mineralogist 13 594 The name rogersite is already in use..so a new name will have to be assigned to the present mineral. Dr. G. M. Butler has suggested the name lausenite, after Carl Lausen the discoverer of the new mineral.
1968 I. Kostov Mineral. ii. ix. 499 Lausenite and kornelite are monoclinic, found respectively in white and pale violet globular aggregates with radial-fibrous texture.
