Borrowings and adaptations of these appear in English from the beginning of the 19th cent. Formations within English are found from at least the mid 19th cent. (compare e.g. lacerato-subdivided).

Forming adjectives with the senses ‘lacerate and ——’, ‘lacerately ——’, as lacerato-dentate, lacerato-subdivided, etc. Cf. lacerate adj. 2.
