To one of these, the kinoplasm, the radiations round the centro~spheres, the spindle-fibres, and the combining filaments..owe their origin... The other constituent..is the trophoplasm.

1896 E. B. Wilson Cell 108 Strasburger believes that the anterior cytoplasmic region, to which the cilia are attached, consists of ‘kinoplasm’ (archoplasm).
