Origin: Formed within English, by derivation. Etymons: English anteler , antler n., -ette suffix.
Etymology: < antel- (in anteler, variant of antler n.) + -ette suffix. In later use showing remodelling of the suffix after -et suffix1 (compare also -let suffix).
Obsolete.
