释义 | fulleriden. Chemistry. An anion resulting from the gain of one or more electrons by a molecule of buckminsterfullerene (C60) or other fullerene; a compound formed by the combination of a fullerene molecule and a metal atom. Frequently attributive. ΚΠ 1990 Jrnl. Physical Chem. 94 8634 A broad new class of these fulleride and fulleronium ions is anticipated, both with the internal cavity empty and with any one of a large number of elements inside. 1993 Nature 11 Nov. 123/1 By analogy with alkali-doped fullerides, in which electrons are donated to the fullerene cage by interstitial metal atoms, the conductivity of solid metallofullerenes will depend on the internal dopant. 1994 A. Hirsch Chem. of Fullerenes ii. 38 The fulleride ions themselves are reactive species and easily undergo subsequent reactions, for example, with electrophiles. 2004 Science 9 Apr. 167/1 The fullerene C60 is a good electron acceptor, and fullerides can be formed by doping C60 crystals with alkali metals.
