Etymology: This adjective, which is presupposed in the derivative cullibility (known 1728), would normally be derived from a verb cull ; but none such is recorded; compare however cull n.2, cully v.2 Gullible , gullibility , < gull v.3, appear much later than cullibility.
Obsolete.
Easily made a ‘cull’ or fool of; gullible.
