Cheliceratan.

Brit. /kəˌlɪsəˈreɪtə/, U.S. /kəˌlɪsəˈrɑdɑ/
Origin: A borrowing from Latin. Etymon: Latin Chelicerata.

Zoology.
With plural agreement: a group of arthropods comprising the arachnids, horseshoe crabs, the extinct eurypterids, and (in many schemes) sea spiders, characterized by feeding appendages that are jointed pincers or chelicerae (as distinct from a single pair of mandibles). Also: animals of this group (collectively or individually); chelicerates. The Chelicerata are the only arthropods to lack antennae, and the chelicerae represent the first pair of appendages. They are now regarded as a subphylum or phylum.
