ramenas S. Afr.|ˈraməˌnas| Also ramnas. [Afrikaans, f. Du. ram(m)enas black radish.] The wild radish, Raphanus raphanistrum, belonging to the family Cruciferæ; also, formerly, the wild mustard, Sinapis arvensis, a similar plant also belonging to the family Cruciferæ.
