daughterboard, n. Electronics.|ˈdɔːtəbɔːd| Also daughter board. [f. daughter n. + board n., after *motherboard n.] A printed circuit board on which are mounted some of the (esp. optional or subsidiary) components of a microcomputer or other electronic device, and which may be connected to a motherboard.
