ˈrain-water [OE. (reᵹn-), rénwæter = Du. regenwater, MHG. regenwaȥȥer (G. -wasser), ON. regnvatn (Sw. -vatten, Da. -vand): see rain and water.] a. Water that falls from the clouds as rain.
