jumart|ˈdʒuːmɑːt| Also 7 gimar. [a. F. jumart, formerly jumare, ad. mod.Pr. gemerre, gemarre, of uncertain origin.] A hybrid animal, erroneously believed to be the offspring of a bull and a mare or she-ass, or of a horse or ass and a cow.
