counter-ˈchevroned, counter-ˈchevrony, a. Her. [counter- 14 d; cf. F. contrechevronné (contrecheveronné, 14th c. in Godefroy).] Of a shield: Chevrony and divided pale-wise, the half chevrons being of alternate tinctures.
