coronilla Bot.|kɒrəˈnɪlə| [mod.L. (Tournefort Inst. Rei Herb. (1700) 650), dim. of L. corona (see corona).] A member of a genus of shrubs or herbs so called, which belongs to the family Leguminosæ and includes plants bearing mostly yellow flowers in umbels.
