Abipon, n. and a.|ˈæbɪpɒn| Also Abipón, Abipone. Pl. unchanged or with -s. [ad. Abipón, self-designation.] a. A member of an extinct native S. American people formerly inhabiting the Gran Chaco area of Paraguay. b. The extinct Guaycuruan language of this people. Also attrib. or as adj.
