ski-joring|skiːˈdʒɔərɪŋ| Also skijoring. [Semi-naturalized alteration of Norw. ski-kjøring, f. ski ski n. + kjøring driving (f. kjøre to drive).] A winter sport in which a skier is pulled over the snow by a horse or horses (or by a motorized vehicle).
