Simchat Torah|ˈsɪmxət ˈtɔərə| Also Simchas, Simchath, Simhat, and hyphened. [a. Heb. śimḥat tōrā, f. śimḥat, construct case of śimḥa simchah, + Torah.] The final day of the festival of Succoth, on which the annual cycle of the reading of the Torah reaches its completion.
