‖ Sheikha|ˈʃeɪkə, ˈʃiːkə| Also Shaikha(h, Sheika, and with small initial. [Arab. šaiḵa.] An Arab lady or matron of good family; hence, the (chief) wife of a sheikh. (Also as a title of respect.) Also transf., the consort of a ‘sheikh’ (cf. sheikh 1 b) (slang).
