shcherbakovite Min.|ʃɜːbəˈkɒvaɪt| [ad. Russ. shcherbakovít (Es′kova & Kazakova 1954, in Dokladȳ Akad. Nauk SSSR XCIX. 837), f. the name of D. I. Shcherbakov (1893–1966), Russian mineralogist: see -ite1.] A silicate of potassium, sodium, barium, titanium, and niobium, (K,Na,Ba)2(Ti,Nb)2(Si2O7)2, found as brittle, brown, orthorhombic crystals.
