Chalcedonian, n.2 and a.|kælsɪˈdəʊnɪən| [f. Chalcedon, city of ancient Bithynia + -ian.] A. n. One who upholds the canons, etc., of the council of Chalcedon (a.d. 451). B. adj. Of or pertaining to the council of Chalcedon or its canons, etc.
