Murrell Massage iii. 11 Next [after effleurage] comes pétrissage which is more important and is by no means easy to acquire. 1906Practitioner Dec. 769 Pétrissage is performed by grasping the tissues to be operated on, lifting the mass thus seized, and alternately loosening and tightening the grasp. 1957Encycl.
